Disney on Ice 2019 celebrates Mickey and Friends. It’s returning to Sydney in July and there are 13 shows between Wednesday, 17 July and Sunday, 21 July.

 

There are also shows in Wollongong and Newcastle too in case you’re not able to get tickets to the Sydney Show.

 

 

The Show

 

This year Moana will be making an appearance with Maui. Of course, there will also be Dory who winds her way through the Ocean and the team from Toy Story and Elsa and Anna.

 

The show is 1 hour 40 minutes and include a 15-20 minute interval.

Newcastle and Wollongong Dates

 

Disney on Ice 2019 is in Newcastle between 12 July and 14 July and in Wollongong between 14 and 16 June.

Tickets 

 

Tickets start at $33 and there are no family tickets.

 

Children under 23 months are admitted free provided they sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. So, children over 2 years old require a ticket.

Some performances carry a discount for children, concession card holders and senior citizens. This is generally true for the matinee shows.

Bags 

Qudos Bank Arena does not allow any bags bigger than A4. This includes handbags, child and baby bags.

 

Special Effects 

Disney on Ice 2019 includes pyrotechnics, strobe lighting and flash lighting just in case a member of your family has sensory or sight concerns.

 

What to wear 

 

The temperature  is typically 10+ degrees cooler than outside, so a light sweater/jacket might be needed. Also, practical shoes are recommended to safely navigate the steps in the arena.

Inappropriate clothing that exposes excessive portions of the skin or body will not be permitted. Disney on Ice 2019 is a family friendly show and this clothing restriction is to protect that.
