6 CLASSIC CHILDREN'S BOOKS

Our 6 Classic Children’s Chapter Books of 2020

I’ve been reading some classic children’s chapter books with my kids over the last few months. It started with as a way to introduce our 5 year old to “chapter” books. “Chapter Books” is the term we use for books that have chapters with lots of writing and limited pictures. This whole process started as […]

Our March & April Books

I’m so behind at the moment and now with a broken keyboard I’m only just getting this post out about our March & April Books. And we’re almost at the end of April. Of course as with all of our book lists, we had our favourites. My daughter picked and added her favourite to the […]

Our February Books

This month we had a massive influx of new books. Our February books may be the longest list of reads and reviews we’ve had in a long time. Tiny Doors on the Northern Beaches

Spot it! An observation game for kids

Our October Books: what my kids are reading this month

We’ve got some great October Books that I’ve hidden in the cupboard from my kids, waiting for this month to roll around.

Our October books include Where’s Wally Double Trouble, Emma Yarlett’s Beast Feast and Sophie Dahl’s Madame Badobedah. We’ve also got a new author with a completely different style in The Corner of my Eye. It’s a strange choice for us, both story and illustration wise but there was something about it that drew me to it.

The Minbie Teats and Bottles are a completely revolutionary change to the teats and bottles we were using. And I'm still sure that back in the day those were the best that were available. If I'd had this choice now, I would not have gone with the bottles, teats and dummies that I did.

Minbie Teats and Bottles – an upgrade from old school teats?

The Minbie Teats and Bottles are a completely revolutionary change to the teats and bottles we were using. And I’m still sure that back in the day those were the best that were available. If I’d had this choice now, I would not have gone with the bottles, teats and dummies that I did.
