Cheeky Monkey Playhouse, Warriewood
I’ve been meaning to check out Cheeky Monkeys Playhouse for ages. One miserable looking Friday in November, we finally got a chance to do it. We arrived late morning and we were the only people there.
The kids had an absolute ball!
Where is Cheeky Monkeys Playhouse
Cheeky Monkeys Playhouse is in Warriewood, a suburb of the Northern Beaches in Sydney.
Address and Location
I found two addresses online, one of which was wrong. The correct address is 4 Daydream, Warriewood. The building Q1 is on the corner of Daydream and Jubilee Avenue, Warriewood.
Parking
There is parking under the building, it’s immediately on your right as you drive under the building. If you see the ramp that goes down to the next level that has a big red “no visitors parking” sign, you’ve missed the parking.
The problems with the parking is that there isn’t much and it’s limited to 2 hours.
If you’re lucky you’ll get a parking under the building otherwise you can try the on street parking.
Cheeky Monkey Playhouse Features
There are two play structures with a seating area in between.
The bigger play structure
The bigger play structure is 3 levels fall. It is very similar to the structure at Kids Connexion in Oxford Falls. There is a metal slide into a ball pit. Two massive slides.
Inside the big play space you’ll find:
– three tall slides,
– a metal slide into a ball pit
– Obstacles to walk through or roll over.
This play area is for 4 years plus.
The smaller play structure.
This area has its own ball pit, a little slide and a two corridors for the little ones to walk through.
Cheeky Monkeys Playhouse Facilities
Cafe
There is food and coffee available for adults and kids. It’s what you expect to find a play space, not like what’s on offer at Sandbucket or Kids Connexion.
Bathrooms
There are bathrooms for adults and kids and a bathroom with a changing table.
Other facilities
Carers will be glad to know that there is free WiFi and lots of magazines to read.
Opening hours and Cost
The play area is only open between 9:30 and 3pm.
Cost
For the three of us, I paid $20. It was $10 for each child.
From the sign on the door on Monday to Friday it’s $3 for babies under 1, $7 for 1 to 2 year olds and $10 for children over 2.
On the weekends, it’s $3 for babies under 1, $10 for 1 to 2 year olds and $13 for children over 2.
If you need socks $2 will get you a pair of socks.

2. The kids must wear socks.
3. No climbing on the nets.
4. Kids under 4 are to play in the Cheeky toddler area.
