Birkenhead Point Outlet

Birkenhead Point Outlet

Birkenhead Point Outlet is a fantastic place to shop. You could spend all day there though so be careful of your feet and your wallet.

I love a good outlet shopping and this is one of the two good places I know of in Sydney (the other is DFO Homebush).
Birkenhead is good for shopping and has the added benefit of being on the water, you can have a coffee or a spot of lunch with a view. Even the Country Road outlet has a view of a marina, too pretty I tell you.

Location and Address

Birkenhead Point Outlet is in the Inner-West suburb of Drummoyne.

The address that comes up on my maps is Roseby Street, Drummoyne which is spot on because it takes up the better part of that road.

Parking

There are two main parking areas, one on the left hand side of the road (left when facing the water) which is best suited for your homeware shopping and sports wear shopping. Parking on the left you will cross over Roseby to get into the Mall.

The other parking area is on the right hand side and is best suited for the food section (Coles, Aldi, a butcher and a grocer amongst others) and your fashion wear.

The structure of the Mall

The structure of the Mall is a little bizarre, the levels are all over the place.

The layout is very very confusing. Everytime I go I’m convinced I’ve left something out and missed a deal of a lifetime. In the long run its probably best for my credit card and my husband’s health that I miss a few things.

The shops I list below are not exclusive of that which is available. There are plenty ore stores I either haven’t listed or I just haven’t seen.

The Very Top

At the very top (entering from the Left parking lot) are

  • Adair
  • Bed Bath Table
  • Hugo Boss
  • Crocs
  • Superdry

This is level 3 according to the floor layout.

The below is a pic taken from level 3 with the play area next to Muffin Break behind me.

Then below that are the food stores.

To get to this level you have to go down a ramp or escalator or a different lift that is outside Lorna Jane.

This is where you’ll find the food court and where you can eat outside overlooking the water. This is called Ground on the floor layout.

Savings at Birkenhead Point Outlet

If you need to buy gifts or you need to find clothing at a good price Birkenhead Point Outlet is your best bet.

I can not tell you the amount I’ve saved from buying linen from the Adairs here as opposed to the actual stores.

The shoes I’ve bought, I’ve bought at less than half the price and the same goes for clothes and suits.

It really is worth a trip!
