DFO Homebush – Outlet Shopping at Its Finest
And you can visit DFO Homebush with kids
DFO Homesbush is two a two storey mall opposite Sydney Olympic Park.
The top floor is made up of outlet stores and the bottom level is homewares. It has one of the most comprehensive collection of outlet shops I’ve ever been to in Australia or abroad.
Where is DFO Homebush
Location and Address
North-west of Sydney City in the suburb of Homebush – its opposite the entrance to the Sydney Olympic Park.
The official address is 3-5 Underwood Rd, Homebush NSW 2140.
Parking
Parking is free for the first 2 hours then, $5 and thereafer $10 dollars escalating in $10 increments.
It’s quite hard to get through the whole center in only 2 hours.
If you don’t stop for a snack break or a play at the play area you should be able to do it in 3 or 4 hours.
Shops at DFO Homebush
There are some awesome discount shops, amongst my Favourites are:
On the top level (the fashion level)
- Cotton On Kids
- Oshgoshbegosh
- Lululemon Atheletica – the cheapest you will get almost anywhere internationally
- Burberry – I like to look 🙂
- Forever New
- Calvin Klein – the pj pants are awesome
- Bonds
- Crabtree & Evelyn
- Rip curl for great priced board shorts.
- Hugo Boss – great work ties especially when half off
- Royal Doulton outlet
The homewares level
- Bose
- Ozdesign Furniture
- Snooze
- Freedom
- Adairs
- Provincial Home Living
Their website often has information on specials and offers.
Visiting DFO Homebush with Kids
On top of the great discounts you can get there is an awesome play stop for little kids.
What has the playground got:
- A slide.
- Massive interactive tv.
- A little tunnel to hide in.
- little iPads in a cubby.
- A wooden train.
My little one ran around for 30 minutes before I told her we had to go home.
On the same level as the play area there are two places you can get coffee (Michel’s Patisserie or Moochi) so you can have a coffee while you watch them play. There is also a phone charging station, right next to the place for the kids to put their shoes.
Food and Coffee at DFO Homebush
You can grab coffee and food just next door to the play area in the food court.
There are also a few cafes or snack stops on the top level – Oliver Brown and Muffin Break included.
When to visit DFO Homebush
The Centre is usually open from 10am to 6pm 7 days a week.
I would avoid going on public holidays, during the Christmas period especially between Christmas and New Year. It is so busy there are queues to get into some of the shops and the parking is a nightmare.
We made this mistake last year and will never ever do it again no matter how cheap the Lululemon stuff is.
