Simple & Sweet Northwest Inspired DIY Wedding
Last spring we kicked off the wedding season in early March providing day-of-coordination for a little DIY wedding out in Snoqualmie Valley. The venue rested in a meadow, far away from the city with a front row view of Washington’s gorgeous landscape between Mt. Si and Rattlesnake Ridge. The weather was sunny and warm, with a slight cool breeze that carried the sweet scent of spring’s fresh wildflowers.
Emily & Scott couldn’t have picked a better day and location to get married.
Their wedding was short & sweet, with a small guest list of about 80 people. The theme was Spring in the Northwest, and incorporated Eco friendly DIY elements with elegance and grace. Here are some snapshots I got with my iPhone of their unique DIY.
Centerpieces included recycled wine & beer bottles, spray painted metallic copper & light sage, and hand selected river rocks. In addition they had homemade log with small branches to support miniature hanging terrariums, and coffee mugs half filled with coffee beans & LED candles.
