A Crazy Woman’s Guide to Party Planning
I’ve been called crazy once or twice (maybe once or twice a day :)) and there is nothing that makes me crazier than when I’m trying to do something special for one of my children. Birthdays are just that. Party planning brings out some of my crazier ideas and thought processes.
While my husband and I do enjoying spoiling the little ones on their birthdays we try to make their birthday parties really special so that they go to bed that night smiling, full of joy after a day of being reminded how special they are.
There is nothing more special than seeing them running around with their friends, smiling and laughing, knowing that everyone is there to celebrate their lives.
“Most of us can remember a time when a birthday – especially if it was one’s own – brightened the world as if a second sun has risen.”
Robert Staughton Lynd
I’ve only thrown 4 birthday parties, with my 5th birthday party coming up in the next 10 days but what I lack in experience I make up for in excessive amounts of research, planning and committed obsessiveness.
Over the next couple of weeks I will be sharing my insights in step-by-step guide called THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO PLANNING A PARTY.
